Riding Techniques

With riding season approaching many of the country’s riders-in-hibernation will be reuniting with their well-rested ATVs. However with each riding season comes an influx of beginners getting their first taste of what off-roading is all about. While we all like to think we’re naturals at teaching others the nuances that separate a good day on the trails from a trip to the Emergency Room, the truth of the matter is operating an ATV is quite a responsibility and can be an intimidating process for a rookie.

Insuring Your Machine

We live in a pretty rough and tumble world, and while there are no guarantees in life, the concept of insuring things that are important to us (or pricey to replace) can take a bit of the worry out of the unknown. We’re all familiar with the process of insuring our automobiles, boats, homes, bodies and even lives, but when it comes to ATVs, the lines often get blurred. The good news is, for the most part, insuring your all-terrain-vehicle is no more complicated than placing a phone call.

Ultimate Guide to ATV Racing

It can be understandably frustrating in trying to make sense of the many ATV classes and quad configurations to consider. There was a time when this was the case (back when racers were competing on 2-strokes), but these days there are literally dozens of bone-stock quads that can hold their own in motocross competition on down to hare scrambles and poker runs. The key is to determine which type of terrain you feel most comfortable with.

Getting Guided

If you hunt with and hire out professional guides, trust their judgment when they call the shot. They often know the land, the game animals and birds on it, better than anyone. Ideally your hunting guide should know your gun or bow’s limitations, the ammo or archery tackle you’re using, and most of all, your experience level.
It’s not enough to hunt well with your guide though. You’ve worked too hard to arrive at that opportunity to blow it. So read the full article with tips on Yamaha Motor to ensure you have a great hunting trip.

Police Department Rhinos

These two Yamaha Rhinos were outfitted by Black Rhino Performance.
The San Diego Police Department uses the Rhinos to patrol the beach in the areas of Pacific Beach and Mission Beach.
Rally Around the Rhino

Yamaha's official line is "Don't just Play: Play it Safe".
In 2003 when Yamaha launched the Rhino 660, even they had no idea the sensation it would create in the ATV world, the birth of an entire new class in the market. From hunting and farming, to recreation and emergency support, the Rhino has remained the best of the best. While others have challenged one facet of the usability pie or another, no vehicle has answered the call as completely as the original. Period. The word "Rhino" has become a generic term for the entire class, just like "Jeep" represents an entire world of 4x4 enthusiasts.
The downside? A big fat target painted on Yamaha's forehead, and the ammunition currently comes in the form of inflamatory and largely incorrect ads.
