Long Travel axle shaft installation

Hey there. I have an 07. I'm trying to install the axle shafts but I can't remove both CV joints off of each stock shaft. The inner CV's come off by removing a circlip. My question is how to remove the outer CV's? They don't have that circlip. Other concern is that shop manual doesn't show that you can remove the outer CV's. It shows the outer CV and axle shaft as one "joint shaft" assembly.

Hey. My suggestion: remove the boot and hold the axle with the CV pointed down, then hit it hard with a hammer and it will pop off. Also check this link out. There's another manual that might be helpful.
