Hey there. I bought mine 09 sport on Sep this year but few weeks ago I decided to break-in the motor per Yamaha manual instructions. I used Pennzoil conventional 20w-50 and then changed the oil to Castrol semi synthetic 20w-50. While having a ride my friend noticed a little bit of smoke puff. After that the motor shutdown. I've been searching the net to find out what could happen. It seems like a have the same problem as here. I did lots of stuff trying to fix it, like replacing the timing chain, the water pump chain that had stretched, and the water pump chain guide etc. It works now but after each of my rides the oil is low. My questions are, why is that happening and what are my best options to fix it?
