The 2010 GNCC Series rules

The 2010 Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series kicks off on February 27th- March 2nd as part of Bike Week at the Westgate River Ranch Resort in River Ranch, Florida, with ATV’s racing on Sunday, February 28.
In December, 2009, Racer Productions, producers of the GNCC Series, has announced the proposed rules for the 2010 GNCC tour in the Amateur, Pro and UTV classes. The most significant proposals involve the Pro classes. The 2010 minimum age requirement for the XC2 classes will be 15 years old and 17 years old for the XC1 Pro classes.
For Amateurs on ATVs, Class Championships will be determined by the rider’s best finishes in a minimum number of 8 events. On the ATV side, there has been an addition of a Utility Senior (40+) class. The Women’s class displacement has been capped at 450 to match XC1 and XC2 Pro-Am equipment.
There are also changes in the UTV and youth classes (check out the rules).
